Tonight, I completed a much needed backup of my blog database and contents to a local computer drive then updated to WordPress Version 2.8.4. To facilitate this activity, I downloaded and used “FileZilla”, the free Open Source FTP Client for Windows. All seems to have gone well with this upgrade/backup operation. Hopefully, I am now reacquainted with the entire backup/upgrade process and won’t easily forget how to do it again. I will now continue adding blog contents after a long summer break.
